Inspired by materials derived from plants and food waste, Sylvia Austin captures sustainable products in natural environments.

The story places sustainably minded objects within quiet, natural environments, allowing each piece to feel organically rooted in its surroundings. Working alongside set designer and stylist Astrid Chastka, Studio Sylvia curates each element to reflect the landscape it inhabits. Developed in close collaboration with the magazine’s founder, the selection of pieces was carefully tailored to each setting—inviting the viewer to feel as though they have stumbled upon these artifacts in their natural habitats, where design and nature exist in gentle harmony.
